Watercolor Seascape

watercolor seascape, 13 year old artist

The point of this seascape was to try out new watercolor techniques like salt, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry. I imagined this scene in my head. It reminds me of where my dad grew up in Monterey, California that I visited a long time ago. I’m going there again this summer so I can see how it actually looks.

I did this painting during a watercolor class at The New Art Center in Newton, MA using Crayola Watercolor pans.

This is watercolor on approximately 15 ” by 20″ watercolor paper. $25.
