Poppies Inspired by Emil Nolde

abstract poppies, acrylic abstract, Emile Nolde

I painted this custom greeting card as my first commission. The card, which is acrylic on paper, was used for a wedding card. My Sensei showed me poppy paintings by Emil Nolde as inspiration. This was the last fifteen minutes of my lesson as I rushed to finish in time. We used a blow dryer to speed up the drying process … my client needed the card in 10 minutes for her party and we were 10 minutes away!!

8.5″ x 11″, acrylic on watercolor paper. $10. SOLD.

I am available to do custom greeting cards.
