Watercolor of Apple

watercolor, apple, watercolor painting of apple

I took my first watercolor class this past winter. This is the first painting we did in class of an apple. Can you believe that we are using Crayola watercolor paint? Just like in preschool!

This is watercolor on approximately 12 ” by 15″ watercolor paper. $25.

There is some marginalia by Felix Fu of Felix Doolittle of a watercolor apple and peach.  He was demonstrating how he paints fruit to me. His technique is different — very small paintings painting very dry. I interned with them for their holiday season to learn about what it’s like to run a commercial art studio.
